In the Military "Fiscal Year" 2007, "there were 2,688 total reports of sexual assault involving military service members. Of this number, some were perpetrators and the rest were victims.
72% were military service member victims. Statistically, it is known that less than 60% of rapes are ever reported.
Despite the Department of Defense studies into ways to reduce that number, the problem continues. I think we all have to ponder, what is it about war that brings our the rage
perpetuated through rape.
